Chicago Rail Link (“CRL”) provides switching and terminal service over 72 miles of trackage in Chicago. Its diverse customer base includes Agrifine, ARRO Plastic, Bulkmatic, Cargill, NIDERA, Geo. J. Rollo, Great Northern Lumber, Hines Lumber, Horsehead Metal Management, Maryland Pig Iron, Reserve Marine Terminal, Leavitt Tube, and Ozinga/Midwest Marine. CRL also provides customized intermediate switching services through the Chicago Terminal complex.

In addition to serving the Illinois International Port, CRL is the contract switching operator for Union Pacific at its Canal Street and IMX Intermodal Facilities and CSXI at the Bedford Park Intermodal Facility.

With a 1,500 car storage capacity, CRL also provides storage and repair services to railcar owners such as Chicago Freight Car, G.E. Railcar, and Helm.
