The Alabama & Tennessee River Railway, LLC ("ATN") owns and operates over 120 miles of track extending from Birmingham, AL to the rail barge terminal at the Port of Guntersville, AL.  ATN interchanges with CSXT at Boyles Yard in Birmingham, AL and with Norfolk Southern (NS) at Alabama City, AL.

Headquartered in Gadsden, AL, the ATN has a very diverse traffic base, including food, corn and soybean products, wood products, metals and scrap, industrial chemicals, and cement. The rail line serves over 40 customers including National Cement, Progress Rail Services, Tyson Foods, SMI Steel, Georgia Pacific, Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Cargill, Praxair, Regional Recycling, and Bowater Lumber.
