Education/Experience:

General Summary

The successful candidate for this position will serve as the railroad engineering leader for the Alabama & Tennessee River Railway, as well as oversee the engineering requirements of the Fulton County Railway and Georgia Woodlands Railway. The Roadmaster is responsible for the planning of all track-related activities including working with the regional management teams to define priorities, establish performance expectations, establish performance metrics and measurements, and evaluate performance to plan the improvement of overall activities in this vital function. 

Education/Experience:

• Support the safety program and lead the safety goals for all Maintenance of Way groups on railroad.

• Insure engineering instructions pertaining to inspections, maintenance, and construction work is adhered to by field personnel.

General Summary

This role is responsible for driving growth at the Stockton Terminal and Eastern Railroad through new customer facilities and increasing penetration of existing customers.  The role directly oversees all account servicing, including but not limited to sales calls and meetings, maintaining and developing business opportunities, and price negotiations.  In addition, this role is responsible for creating new growth opportunities for OmniTRAX through the provision of additional services, geographic expansion, identification of acquisition opportunities and creation of partnerships in the assigned geographic area.  This role will also be responsible for identifying land sites for industrial development near the railroad.  This position will have responsibility for growing the OmniTRAX franchise throughout northern California.

Education/Experience:

• 10 to 15 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preffered, with significant experience in the areas of marketing
• Demonstrated the ability to apply strong project management/sales skills to manage complex projects in a diverse environment.
